Film Warwickshire is an the initiative of The SPACE-2 Group, a Warwickshire-HQ’ed creative property business. Its main aims are to provide business development, marketing support and co‑ordination services as well as offer a wide range of locations for use by the film, TV and photographic industry to clients considering the county for their next project/shoot or those creative businesses already based here.
In light of the impact of COVID-19 on both the media production and tourism sectors, Film Warwickshire now also aims to act as a catalyst to support, sustain and engage with creatives and businesses alike to ensure a stable ecosystem from which to leverage the opportunities for and minimise the challenges to the wider screen sector.
Founded by Managing Director, Mark Hughes‑Webb, who grew up in the county, Film Warwickshire aims to provide practical support to media producers who wish to use Warwickshire’s diverse portfolio of locations and landscapes or utilise the skills and services of local production and supply-chain talent/businesses.
Our main focus is on promoting public and privately owned/managed locations in the county and then providing an administration and onsite management service to the property owners and managers to minimise the perceived hassle and risks associated with activities such as filming and photography in order to attract and encourage more media production to take place across the county.
With strategic partnerships in place with Warwickshire-based companies and organisations such as Shakespeare’s England and access to a growing pool of resident freelancers, Film Warwickshire should be the first point of contact for any production looking to film in the county. We also provide location scouting services and recommend the best supplier for any production services required. With an ever- growing image library showcasing the best and most interesting locations in the county, Film Warwickshire provides prompt responses to enquiries as well as suitability, availability and costings required for any media project from feature films to photoshoots and every production in between. We can also offer practical production offices as well as temporary set-build spaces and even crew accommodation at preferential rates.
