Meet the Team
Mark Hughes-Webb
Mark founded creative property consultancy, SPACE‑2 Consulting in 2006 following 2 1/2 years in‑house with the UK’s largest property company, Land Securities Plc. With a focus on promoting and managing locations for short‑term and short-notice use, SPACE‑2 has developed a market-leading service to enable media production companies to film and base themselves at sites across the country.
Following the successful launch of a county-wide locations initiative for Surrey and in order to better service a growing regional SPACE-2 business, Mark moved back to his home county of Warwickshire in November 2011 with the aim of making the Midlands and in particular Warwickshire a more sustainable and viable production base for national and international productions.
He launched Film Warwickshire in January 2012 and acts as the main point of contact for all property clients/location owners in the county as well as developing the business development and promotional strategy for the service.
Chris Wilkinson
Chris joined the Film Warwickshire team in March 2016 to focus on expanding and promoting our diverse location portfolio. With a passion and talent for creative photography, Chris visits all our locations to capture every aspect that each location or space can offer whilst assessing the potential shoots that could be accommodated at each location. Having previously worked for over 10 years in logistics management and planning for Network Rail, Chris also has a strong commercial background dealing with complex projects, multiple contractors and technical teams making him the ideal candidate to deal with crews of all sizes. Even when employed in his last job, Chris’ talent as a photographer was recognised and he won the “Network Rail Star Photographer 2013” award with a stunning aerial shot of Waterloo station!
Outside of work, Chris has applied his practical and creative skills to a complete home renovation project. With two young children, he is also very much a family man and enjoys taking his family on regular weekend outings in and around Warwickshire – and is, of course, never seen without his camera!
